So my months of hard work on my first serious warcraft map was wiped out by a virus (along with everything else on my computer). I'm sad because I believe it would have actually been a hit. Some info on my (lost) map: Name: Minions: The Day Dream Story: Demons have begun to march out of hell, bringing their thousands of minions with them. Each demon having a unique minion following and their own special quirk. You are a marine (packed with an arsenal of 15 different weapons) and you must save the captured innocent before they are fed to hell. Weapons: 15 completely custom weapons. 0. Fists 1. Pistol (Glock and Magnum) 2. Shotgun 3. AK-47 4. Acid Gun 5. Gatling Gun 6. Rocket launcher 7. Automatic Grenade Lobber 8. Katana 9. Sniper Rifle 10. Repeating Crossbow 11. Lazer Gun 12. Chainsaw 13. Razor Gun 14. Flame Thrower Minions/Boss: 1.Zombie/none 2. Candy Zombie/Sweet Tooth 3. Undead Sheep/Black Sheep 4. Meteor Golem/Meteorologist 5. Flying Penguins/Graffiti 6. Sewer Elementals/Sewage Demon Vehicles: 1. Motorcycle 2. Car 3. Pick-Up 4. Snow Plower 5. Monster Truck 6. Modified Charter Bus Other Info: 1. System for blowing off limbs. 2. All bosses require strategy. 3. Good replay value. 4. Savable 5. All enemies have custom skins(except zombie). 6. Weapons don't have ammo, stronger weapons depleat stamina and melee weapons don't depleat anything. 7. You choose 5 weapons at start (if you have that many unlocked ;)) 8. You can drive any vehicle you find on the street. I'm hoping to restart this project. Just thought I'd tell my tale of woe. |

Ouch, that's tough luck. Hopefully, having done it once, re-making the stuff you made before won't be as difficult this time. Think of it as an opportunity to make things cleaner and more efficient. Good luck this time. |

ya, maybe this time it'll only take a month instead of 4. All I need to do now is install warcraft and Maya and get a whole bunch of converters. |

Sorry to hear that man. :( That sucks, big-time. I guess that's how you learn the hard way to backup your projects. |
