Strange indeed. But... why is it your biggest challenge? Maybe because you couldn't use an eraser? Anyway, I must say I like the "mechanical background" a lot more than the guy.

why is it my biggest challenge? simply because i did a complete drawing including backround (challenge 1), did it all by marker without eraser, its hard considering i erase like 20 time (challenge 2) and i tried a totally new stlyle of drawing (challenge 3) and like usual i did it without having any idea of what is being drawn ^-^

I'm seeing more improvement in this peice than any others I've seen from you, the theme is cool, but it's all jumbled. Try to work more with values to make things you want to pop out, pop out.

You must improve the proportions and the shading, I think. You are in the right path tho. That monster with armor and "organic" big arm reminds me of Akira. Your ex... I don't like the fact you make the border lines so, uhm, strong? I mean, when drawing faces it's much better IMO if you use shading instead of crude lines. I hope I can get a scanner soon to post some of my drawings some day. :\

yes i know about the borderlines, i realized that after, i always take a 3h or 4h to place everything than i start shading but i used my hb and did the old technique uncounsiously

Well, first off, in the first one, the guy is a bit too undetailed. His face is okay, but his body just brings the entire thing down. Eyes need work, in all of your drawings. I sudgest you try drawing a few from diffrent angles to get the hang of how they look from all sides. Nice improvement, none the less.

indeed there is an highlight on the iris, unfortunatly its there but i forgot to erase the content, analyse closer you will see some kind of little demi circle, and that ammout of flesh is the result of what happen when you push on the side of your face with your finger, i screwed the hand so i erased, normally you would see her hand with a finger hanging up to the other side, it is like that on the real pic as well

you might want to take your eraser and open up white spaces

i will of course, maybe a bit later when i will have time, ill try to erase, its like my crappy paper (trying to get rid of the sketchbook), hard to erase on that but ill try
