I have an issue with AMAI, i think it is related to RoC AMAI only, as i did not read something similar with the TFT version of AMAI in normal difficulty. Since the time i play with AMAI in RoC , i never ever ran into an AMAI opponent that has built a single tower for defense (both in the base or in its expansion) . The Undead build ziggurat (as it is needed to allow him more units), but they will never upgrade them with the capacity to open fire. It is an issue that is making attacking AMAI base/expansion a really easy job for the player (usually the Blizzard AI will create a minimum of 2 upgraded towers in base and in expansion). In RoC , every race towers are more powerfull and more resistant than in TFT so the disadvantage AMAI gives to himself in RoC is huge. Not an issue preventing the game to play with AMAI, but annoying when looking for a challenge (other than playing in Insane difficulty) in the base assault |

I can add some towers to them in RoC I guess, sadly I don't have the time or the skill to maintain RoC AI any more now a days. :/ If I try to improve it it's most likely getting wors since it ha been a while since I last played RoC. But anyone who feels up to it can take on the task of preserving quality of the RoC version by helping us with maintining the RoC strategies and add new ones. |

Thanks for the answer. I don't think it worthes the trouble to break what is working on the actual code for RoC just to add tower support for this out of date game, you should continue to focus on the TFT. AMAI is enjoyable like it is in RoC , it was just that attacking AMAI base is really easy even for the casual warcraft player like me, not really a problem as i don't play very often due to some lack of free time thanks to my job . Maybe one day i will get TFT, if i get more time to play :) |
