Guest | Last night I played some games to try the new amai version 2.41, Imo yep, its smoother hehe. But I was surprised by the attack waves, now AMAI tends to rush in especially the UD, after UD made few harrasment, they came back with a bunch of ghouls aiming to destroy my tree of life without a hero!. Seems now AMAI sometimes try to attack enemy base without their hero/heroes, I think that was kinda stupid, it's like sending a suicide squad. As we all know with the hero present at least he could TP out before all of his troop got killed. And so I wonder is that the plan movement system that AMAI teams have been talking about? I'll play some more in bigger map and observe their behavior furthermore. Thanks. |

No that will be such a imrpovement that the AMAI will have to be called 3.0 a 0.01 increase in version number only means some minor changes and mainly bugfixes. What you see is an harass movement, not sure witch one, maybe the one I tried adding for UD with masses of ghouls against NE to try killing the tree of life fast with 13 ghouls. How many?(I have never even seen this harass being used so it's rare) |

I've also seen troops moving around without their hero. It's like the hero and troops move together, then the hero decides to do X while the troops carrying on doing Y. Can't say for sure as I haven't paid a whole lot of attention to it, but if I see it again I'll let you know. What's this new movement system? I've obviously missed something. |

there is no new movementsystem it's the same old harass and distraction attacks as usual. The coming plan system might have some improvements. |

Im not exactly sure my self I only know that it's great it will enable us to make the AI do many different things at the same thing without them interfeering with each other. Better micromanagement assistance maybe, island expansions or well almost anything you can think of. |

Back in the mother thread, I used to read about the Army Tracker. What's that do? |

@Quitch: Army Tracker module, among other things, checks if an AMAI expansion or main base is being approched by you. In such cases, they either TP to it just in time before you reach their base. If they have no TP, they run to it, or Heroes with Staff of Teleportation will attempt to rescue it. |

I was not counting, but yes its pretty sure 13 ghouls and it happened alot (I've noticed everytime i played against UD, they do that), unless I build towers. But its all good sometimes they succeded killing my or my ally's tree of life, but sad thing is when they did destroy my ally's tree of life, the game was like over , because amai dont build a new tree immidietly. |

@ShadowStrike: I was browsing past messages and found this one. And now, you're part of the AMAI Team, I think AIAndy has given you his design for the "Plan Movement System". Would it be included soon in AMAI? News about it would be appreciated. :) |
