A mod is like RoK, a single player map (or multiplayer if everyone has the files) that includes modified game files that cannot be done in bnet games. Some include MiscData.txt, actually editing game.dll, or changing the .j files.

Modified maps only have modified models, abilities, or the like. They can be plaed on bnet with no problems, and dont require external files.

lol thx, i hope i can make up for the problems i caused with the first release of this edition, i fell horrible for not testing everything b4 i released. Thought i had it all covered, who knew i would have to try saving a map AFTER i made the .exe files :bgrun:
