what i need is to the animation name of the dreanei akama that's called stand var4
to my own one like "conzentrate" or something like that so i can play it in the editor with a trigger.

what i did is simply changing the animation name of the model but that just removed the animation at all. i can't view it if i select him in the editor and can't play the "conzentrate" animation using triggers...

i changed a units walk animation once and it worked but doesn't it if i make my own name for it?

it doesn't mattter how many different models i need for that because it's for my cinematic... i just need this animation(and not any variation of "stand") to be played by triggers

for what I know, you cant make own names for animations, u'll have to use blizzard names, however, u can do "Stand Four" cause it starts with stand (at least, medivh has some stand animations u can start with trigger without it being a stand - 1 or stand - 2, if u know what imean :P ).

i used spell now. but i have a new problem:

it tested the animation in the editor and stoped it using animation speed 0% for all units of a type and placed a camara that is aplied on map initialization. in game, all units visible looked fine. but once i moved the camara to see annother one i could see that it's animation is paused but it didn't play my "spell" animation but just freezed on "stand"... why that? are animations only played if a player sees the unit in his camera field or wtf is up? :\
