AMAI needs to get imporved anti harrassment and anti rush abilitys. Iv'ed seen people just fuck with it over and over and win by money vs an INSANE amai casue the comp called militia every time for 1 hero with summons :0 Ived inculded a replay that shows me beating an Insane AMAI comp after I get my 2end hero, very easy game for me. Mabie something so it plays more defensively (like hiding in range of a tower) in teir 1 if it doesn't get a summon hero and is fighting a summon hero? Hammer surronds would be pretty wicked to, dunno if thats possible at all tho... Only way Iv'ed managed to get a computer do a sort of surrond is by telling it after using the hammer to move to an offset of the hero and then useing the move command on the hero like 10 times with a .10 second delay inbetween them, sorta worked... The map path is Maps\AMAI\ EDIT : 56-kers beware, for some reson the map was infalted to about 2.5 megs after I installed AMAI. |

You installed AMAI many times without resetting the map I guess to get that size.(delete the map and make a new copy from the original some times) Yes beating rushes is hard, we at least did improve it a bit for human by making it not do militia with 5 of the pesants and also making it never leave base with the militia, they only follow a very short distance. One of the main problems is the random building placement making i hard to place a anti rush tower at a good location, perhaps we should try to override the placement of towers so the early towers are built close to the mine and hall. Stunning and surrounding enemy heroes might be possible later in AMAI. We have some big "plans" for the future. |
