I'm making this sort of "monkish" skin, like the grand church type, kinda golden, finidshed with most of robes, working on face, and need help distinguihsing what parts of the texture wrap what. -I need to kno what those black splats do, the "flower" thingy under the face, and the red dot between the should pads and lower robe. DO NOT use this skin, or I will hunt you down. Heh heh, I love massive dodge and burn ![]() Wrapping so far... ![]() |

lol, i cant wait untill Ewrt sees this thread (Dodge and burn hater is his title) well.... i think the one under that mass of blue is some sort of eye glow for an animation. the other... hmm... may be from the base skin of this template. notice the lumber on it? that may be something that they couldent be bothered removing. (hey! i mean, if theres a white corner on my skin i paste whaatever color all aroud the area! people look at the wrap on the model, not the unwrap!) Hmm...well... not a bad skin in all.. needs work.. lots and lots of work.. and that face is going to look like something that..... well.. it wont look good like that! anyway! Gj! -Garith |

My technique is to cover over with a solid color at about 40-60%, so I leave un the details, the dodge and burn like crazy. I'm still on the robes, but yeah, I know the face is like that :god_help_us: Thanks |

oh sorry... its just that... dodge and burn... they... mess with colors in ways that even satan himself couldnt have thought of... its pure evil, dont touch them. but you could also not listen to me, as there are lots of goodies that skin wonders with dnb, but i have no idea how they do it... ''My technique is to cover over with a solid color at about 40-60%, so I leave un the details, the dodge and burn like crazy. lol, told ya. yeah you definatley need to cut the dodge and burn, oh and sharpen that cloak.. and pretty mjuch everyhitng else.. it looks too blury.. everything seems to if you DODGE AND BURN (Which i now know, after taking LOTS of termentings and lessons and tourturials is BAD) just shade using difrent colors. If you'r real good (Or even mediochre good) use monochromatic layers to shade. -Garith |

basically heres my standpoint: the robe is too gritty (no smoothness to it... just look at it) and also, uve got a gray box around the dagger |

The face is needs alot of shading, and the color is all wrong. His clothes needs some work too. |
