Anyone knows how to change the mana icon, resources and attacks etc. But how do u change the Actual interface, ive seen it done on some RPGS and projects, i relise it will involve importing your own images. It would OWN if someone give us all here a good tutorial to see how to do it. I have the skill to do it, i just dont know where everything would go ![]() |

Guest | Do you want to change the interface of a unit ? What do you mean when you say Actual Interface ? |

AS in, the interface of the game. Like each race has there own interface. |

Lets just say it involves a lot of importing. Export all the files used to make an interface in game, modify them, then reimport them to the correct path. That should modify one race I think. Corse its not like I've actualy done it yet, but that's the general thing you need to do for it |

What Mecheon said was perfect. Look around for the files. For example: Every armor has a different icon as you know, heavy, fortified, etc. Each of those has a path, find the path, upload your icon, and change it's name to the name of the path of the origonal. I'm not sure of the path names off hand, sorry. As for each race's individual interface (the leafy Elf, brick Humans, etc.) it is the same idea. I'm not sure if blizz did it as one replacable image, or a series of small ones that get pieced together. Hope it helped. |

Guest | Ok, wirh Warcraft III Viewer extract the mdxs and blps of the interfaces. UI\Console\...(race)\... Importe your with the good path of the blp....( you know that) In the Worldedit, cklick advanced-Game Interface and found the good mdl and changet the path by your own imported. I hope that answer your question. |

1. I didn't call you cumb. 2. You didn't say that all you needed was the path. 3. You made it seem like you were asking for details on how to actualy do it. |
