Guest | Many might think "omg... another wc3 rpg mod..." your absolutely right then, this is my first real project ever, previously ive just done maps in the world editor just for practice, im really good at terrain at least i think so, and at triggers i can also do most triggers, anyway, im going to start with some basics about the project, and i also need a team. What kind of people i need in team: - Modeller that is good at doodad models (that use ingame textures, so the map can be smaller). - Skinner, for unit skins. Anyone interrested, talk to me over MSN ([email protected]) or reply at this thread. Ok so now ill tell you the basics of this project. Name: World of Eidolien Map Size: 384x352 Classes: Rogue, Paladin, Warlock, Warrior, Mage, Shaman, Hunter, and Druid Races (each has four classes): Night Elf, Human, Orc, Tauren, Dwarf and Troll. Two teams: Horde and Alliance Max Lvl: 60 Skills: Each class will have a total of 60 skills. You can get 12 new skills at level 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60, Some will be upgraded types of older skills. Each race has its own capital and there will be alot of diffrent towns. Tradeskills: Fishing, Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Tailoring. You can only have one tradeskill in use, you can unlearn the tradeskill and change it for another. Camera: Third person camera, controlled by the player with full control of zooming and camera angle. Save Code: This map will have a save code. Thats about all i got, and yes, i know that the classes, teams and races are WoW-style, but i dont care really, thats the races this map will use. |

I'd be interested in triggering for it. How much triggering (i've got some maps of my own too)? PS: Don't expect me to do ANY triggering until after the end of WoW Open beta. Bit more info required though. |

Guest | Ive decided to remove the triggerer position, since i can do most stuff anyway, for example, iv'e learned how to make an advanced save code, that do not use if/then/else for items etc, therefor it wont be annoying, and it would be flawless even if i got like 500 items. The initial concept i had when i started thinking of this project was to fit all rpg ideas and as much quests and role playing feeling as possible into one single multiplayer map. And, i got some updates on various stuff here now. Players: 6 Computers: 6 (One for each race). Armors/Weapons/Helmets/Leg armors/Shields: You will only be able to wear one of each. Note: Eidolien and my acc name Eidolon has nothing to do with eachother. |
