Best thing about a boring lecture in english?

stealing paper from the teacher's printer and drawing while she's talking. and pretending you're taking notes.



the rendered arm was drawn from memory, offa the loomis site. the other stuff i was just doodling. the face i drew off the loomis site when i got home. no sense in wasting paper.

Coooool. I like that face, but... what does he have on his right side? Are those scars or just some weird shading? o_O

I had a feelign this was going to involve crappy pictures :P. J/k, the detailed arm looks good and for some reason I really like the little lighthouse fortress thing on the side.

mara jade: for the scars, think "Mummy". the movie i mean.

Saboera: i wouldn't call it a "style" of shading per se. it's pretty much your standard shading method. it's a mix of crosshatching and contour shading, to make the shapes appear rounded.

The hands look great, the face is a bit iffy though. I say if you were going for a mummy style, you should incorperate more fleshy rotting textures and what not to give it a more undead feeling.

I'll have to try out the drawing in english plan sometime soon.'cept probaly not in english class.The teacher hands out zero's for doodling in her class.(she's kinda scary.)

heh you notice drawing is the most fun class ,or waiting for the bus. . In my anthro class I always draw this chick that sits in front of me. Fun stuff.

thanks. my english class only 2 guys, that's me and friend. then theres 13 girls. i have lots of options on who to draw. it's great too cuz the class is so boring that most of the time they stay still zoning. almost as good as a life drawing drawing class. almost.
