I was wondering, since I like to have some better overview in my triggers, is it possible to create some sort of UI for the Caster System? My way of doing it, but i'm no programmer: Make some sort of UI, non-related to WE, well, maybe same looks, but not same code or anything, then make an import/export function for maps, then when the map is imported, there should be a kind of Trigger editor, but one that understands the Caster System, which would create a UI, instead of alot of text, this way more ppl would be able to understand and use the system, then afterwards you just save the map again, automaticly ask if it should make a backup, incase of bugs, then open it in WE, and the triggers should be how you made them. I know it would be a huge project, but since ppl can make WEU, i would assume it's possible, but it's just a thougth... |

I could add them to the editor like WeU does with its functions, but I don't like the idea that much, because your map will not be openeable by people without it, and if blizzard makes a patch with editor changes you'd have to wait till I fix it to be able to open your map again |

Hmmm, wouldn't it be possible to do in another way then? Since i would guess lots of ppl would like a UI... This way all different things could be explained, and made easier to handle... |

Just use JASS. It's fairly simple, as Vex has all of the functions in the Readme etc. for you to use. |

Vex really has well commented it. And even added a list of all functions and explained how to use them. Learning Jass is really usefull. |
