A shoreline village

Hullo! I'm making a return to wc3c after a long absence, and just starting out in the terrain department; as such, this is my first "official" terrain.

It's of a small village, settled on a beach; it is to be the starting point for my latest RPG project that'll likely never be complete! Hooray!

So, yeah; critique my first terrain all you like. I need all of the advice I can get, I daresay. Oh, and the seemingly random stairs that walk down into the ocean aren't out of place; it's the Stairwell of the Depths, the magical route by which the heroes (will) enter a ruined underwater civilization (which doesn't exist yet).

Feedback is appreciated, thanks much.

I'd suggest making the buildings doodads rather than actual buildings to get rid of the ground skirt underneath them. You should also lessen the overall linearity of the map and remove the waves on the shores...
