Saborea asked me to redraw one of his characters (Astrolegend) for the community project thing. He was gona give me one of his graphisim drawing as payment

Hah I realized how much I was using ref for crutches, "copying". Tryn to make everything look purty with shading and details. Forgot about the whole structure part of drawing. :\

hahhaha I found out why the picture looked so fu*ked. Theres like perspective issue up the wazzooo. There is no way that guy can be holding that stick like that.

The head looks really wierd, but though it's not a human, then...
The right arm is some bad
the legs are too short
the shadings, especially on the armor, are incredibly good...
the left arm is excellent
the pic is unfinished, sadly...

Looks great! Very close to the original concept. The forshadowing on his right (our left) arm makes his upper arm much longer than it's supposed to be though.

i'm sorry but i have to ask "The QUESTION". what is it? a little story or something would be cool, cuz right now i'm thinking, that looks cool but i don't know what it does.

I didn't really read the description of the character. Saborea just gave me his pic and asked me to redraw.

Anyways he gave me pic of this cute martian lookin dude with metal armor, short legs and really long arms.

so yeah I just used that and redrew it.

I didn't finish the leg area because everything was looking too chaotic. I think it might have just made pic more confusing.

I think the more details you add to a pic the more harder it is to make everything look consistent "harmony". I seen plp who go all apeshit with details, adding every nut, bolts and wires.It looks cool , but I don't know what the hell Im looking at. It looks like one big confusing chaotic mess.

I guess im not detail kinda guy...... but trying to practice .

He well you did a really good job on him, all it need now is the chains with the little moon and star crap, he is an astrologist after all ^-^, sorry for the lack of description, i forgot to add it better later than never, maybe it can help you continu it. i dont know anyway, try adding adding details, let see this as a test.. ill make you a logo even if its unusable, dont worry

ahh for got about the Picolo ears. I kinda moved the horns down because in your picture it looked kinda impratical. Horns up on the tips , looks like it would easly break you know. Now I dont have room for the ears o_O

heh I didnt know those were wrinkles around the eyes I thought those were tatoos. I also didn't know he was wearing a hat. I thought that was like design on his skin.

Heres the pic you kinda have to explain to what everything is. I didn't quite understand the whole shoulder pad area, so I had to redesign the whole thing.
I also changed the mouth area thing into a gas mask...... you said I could redesign....

the way I see it is its some martian with a cone head, wearing some type medevil armor.

oww sorry for not replying immediatly, ive been so busy for thoses 2 last days, anyway, ill give you an opening here, mind to redisign the whole guy according to the description? (free to make it like you want) all i would need to see is that he his a living legend, a master of a magic style and decent with close combat, heres maybe some more info about why he looked weird a bit

He was possessing a human body, unfortunatly his body got severely damaged, Makiri's dont own a body, they posess them only when the head is cut down, they replace it and acess the nervous system via theirs minis tentacles, he praticed the transfusion technique to move on an unknown race of creatures that came from the sky (the evil guys from the Great Meteor battle) while in this process the makiri's have approximatly 1 chance on 10 to survive, he suceed and now live in this body since many years...

Now what i would like is that you design the body of that living legend and that it would be a mutated creature of some kind
