How to make ranged attacks?

Okay, this may sound a bit noobish, but I don't know how to get the range of the units more far than 500. Even if I put 2000 in the editor, it won't change. Also, I would like to know what is Range Motion Buffer. Thanks.

Change the acquisition range of the unit. The motino bufer has something to do with animation bledning, i think.

Thanks, dude, it's working. Another thing though. I'm curious

Do you know what's the Range option doing then?

range is how far a unit will attack, the acquisition one is how far a unit will pick one for his target

Ive always been annoyed by the fact that u need to change aquisition range when you want the unit to shoot further, it makes it irritating when u want the unit to not attack a target within this range...
