How does anyone make it that a unit have build and build adv. so it can build lots of buildings



( and yes im making starcraft game with lots of buildings but not all of them ..cuz i dunt got all models yet , but oh wel, P.S. if u do hav models, chek my post on http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=68188, and if u got sounds for starcraft chek my post on http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=68159, thx )

Please excuse me if this is incorrect, I can't check at this time but I believe it's a normal ability you can select in the object editor.

No, it doesn't exist (or it didn't in the last patches). I've made a trigger spell that enables one to have an advance building ability, look here .

Refer to Darkys NCCD map for this, he does it excellently i do believe...only prob with that map is its fucking huge and when you play it on bnet it usually drops 4 people right after load.

....and by da way i dunt play on bnet, dunt kno y, but wateva...
....and does that map need a bettur version of WE than the one TFT comes with :( ?...

Why not use a spellbook with various mini-building abilities, then use triggers to check for requirments?

wen u use minibuilding abilities, the worker unit does not build it, its just place and leave, so uh i rather not do that but nice idea

If you're gonna do it with triggers, you might try my spell, though it is less good than Darky's one.
Concerning his map needing a more recent version, I had the same problem when trying to open a protected RotD demo map, I guess the map you opened is a protected map. As Darky is against protection except for demoes, it shouldn't be too difficult to find an unprotected version.

give the worker a dummy ability, when it cast it replace the worker whit an other that can build the advanced buildings and the other way.

That's the trick I used in my map, but to prevent bugs from happening there are a few triggers to make. The only problem is that, if the unit was moving or doing a task before the controler clicked the build advanced button, it will stop.
