I made a picture in Photoshop and i want to make it an icon for a spell idea i have. I have looked at some stuff and cant work out how to import the file so it works. Firstly i made the pic, then i used Irfan View to turn the bmp into a tga. After that i used the w3 image extractor to turn the tga of my pic into a .blp file. But when i import the picture using the import manager, it just doesnt work. (i have tried with custom path and this is what i entered "C\Documents and Settings\Other\My Documents\My Pictures\w3ics\BTNprysmaticspray.blp") If u can understand my problem and help me pls do PS: i know it should be C then : then \ but that makes a smiley, ![]() |

I don't know the problem but you should use these paths: Normal Version: ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTN*Your icon*.blp Disabled Version: ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTN*Your icon*.blp The disabled version is for spells that can't be learnt/used because your hero needs a higher level or some tech-tree reqiurements are missing. It's also displayed if the game is paused. |

i still cant get this 2 work, i have changed the paths to ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNrune.blp (one of my icons) and ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNspray.blp (the other one). But when i try them out they dont appear. It just comes up blank. I restarted the WE and then tested the map (having made a spell with the icons and given it 2 a unit). But the spell slot was black, even tho the spell was there. |

Doesnt "rune.blp" and "spray.blp" already exist? Make sure to export/import/convert all blp/tga things on 32 bit, by the way. |

rune does exist, but i changed it earlier yesterday to ....BTNRunic.blp which is not an icon name. Spray.blp doesnt exist. |
