Well, I'm not a voice actor, but I've worked with some of them for TV programs and radio as sound technician, so I'll try to help.

First of all, sorry if I'm not clear with some expressions, english is not my language after all.

- I think your voice "scratches" too much. I mean, it's trembling a lot (imagine a waveform: your voice has a lot of little sawteeth shapes all along), you need to let your voice flow smoothly. If you actually want that tremble effect, always try and do your voice understandable first of all: if you hadn't named the file "my lair.wav" I would never guessed out what were you saying.

- Try to remove those "tongue splatchs" (man, I hope you understood that!). They are not a problem for a normal speech, but if you are adding that reverb, it's very strange, at least to me. Use any sound editor software to smooth those moments, or stay further from microphone when recording.

- I would make the voice lower tone. If you can't achieve it, just use a sound editor to pitch it down a little.

- Before adding the reverb, or delay, or whatever you added, insert a 1 or even 2 seconds silence at end of the voice, to let the reverb tail fades out naturally. Then cut the silence remaining.

- Don't forget to compress or normalize the voice (always before adding effects), if your software allows it. For compression, use a ratio of 2:1 starting from -15dB, I think that's ok.

- A final suggestion: if you really want to get a great voice recorded, try to get a good micro. There are lots of hi-quality micros at very interesting prices. Take a look at Sennheisser or Shure micros, they have nice micros between 80-150€ (100-190$ aprox).

Hope that helped.

So your in 7th grade....ahhh, good times...good times....you think you know it all in seventh grade....good times....

Now in order to not be a loser in high school do the followign things

1.Go buy a guitar/bass guitar/drumset and get lessons and get really good
2.Start listining to metal music, and wearing chick pants and small/medium shirts (Trust me)
3.Dye your hair blue/green/red/purple/yellow/any color you damn well please and get a devil hawk
4.DONT BE AFRAID OF WOMEN.You have nothing to lose buy your dignity, and that comes back after about 3 days.
5.Go to www.trustkill.com www.metalblade.com www.victoryrecords.com www.prostheticrecords.com and dl all the mp3 demo things. Get hooked.

This all worked for me...I currently play bass guitar in a metal band. I reside in Tampa FL. My hair is ina devil hawk, And i have more knowledge on metal then anyone else. I am also getting tones of punnanny.

P.S. Goth chicks are really really fucking hot.

Just a suggestion.

Stupid suggestions IMO (except point 4). Just be yourself and fuck off the rest if they don't like it.
