How can i edit existing W3 models in gmax?

go here for a tutorial. its with 3ds max but its the same for importing.

it is totally wrong, first you need to set bone rotations on and second you set no skinning, this is the way it works and saves the anims.

And another thing, how can i name a animation? i made 1, but i couldn't Dex export it.

there is a great tut that could teach you. try looking in gmax fot beginners and look for edwardswolentoe post a bout a better gmax tut
