Loading and Unloading of Ships Now Works! Try the Map!

Ok. I managed to produce a half decent solution, in my humble opinion. Try it out and let me know if you agree.

It's set up for 2 players, but works fine as a single player map. Build a shipyard to produce ships and pirates. Build farms to make more peasants. Harvest gold/lumber and return to the shipyard. You can make cannon towers but not guard because I forgot to remove guard's req's. Oopsie. Too late at night to fix....

Basically I overcame the unloading problem by using shallow water, areas where both ships and land units can move. This allows ships to move up to an area where land units can be unloaded, but it looks ok because they're still effectively in the water.

Kudos to Zepir, for it is only through prodigious use of his map editor's path drawing function that all of this was possible.

Again, let me know what you think!

EDIT: The cool thing about the method I'm using is that it doesn't require but one trigger, a trigger that checks to see if a just produced unit is too far away from it's producer. The rest of the effect is enabled through the use of the unit editor (load/unload abilities on the ships, flying move type, etc.) and through a lot of work on the map itself (no-fly zones, walk zones down into the water a ways, etc.)

Thanks, and take care.
