I've noticed a fun new map on b.net: the Hero Builder Team Survival. In it, there is a mode of play in which you build your hero and choose each of their abilities before you begin play. This is great, of course; however, the part that interests me is that you can pick and choose which abilities to place skill points in as you level, just as with normal abilities; whenever I add a Hero skill to a unit, it is simply added as the level 1 version. How can I add a 'learnable' ability to a Hero? Help is appreciated! |

It's pretty easy, they give 5 channel-based spells(no icon) to the hero, then when it's "added" they use a custom engineering upgrade which replaces the channel with the ability! |
