Guest | I was making an outland map and decided to make pathable floating rocks. so I made a seperate map and got to work. I did it. I don't know how many of you guys have figured out the full potential of invisible platforms. What i did was base a doodad off the large invisible platform. I placed these and filled the gaps with normal invisible platforms. So now the units walk on the rocks. The best part is, they dont sit on the ground below the rock, they actually stand ON it and move up and down with it. Their feet only leave the ground when the rock goes below their minimum altitude (with the rock's highest point serving as normal altitude.) Check it out! This should be useful for starcraft and outland maps and especially outland cinematics. I think it's awesome. I haven't seen anyone post about this so i dont hink that at least very many of you know about this. |
