I have tried reinstalling warcraft 3 , updating to 1.01 , use mpqviewer 1.1b to extract the mdx and blp files , but the file converter still says unknown file format. Using KMK's maxscript i can view and edit the models, and using DJBnJack's image extractor i can convert the blps, so I am sure the files are not corrupted. So can someone help me please ? :( EDIT : The strange thing is, it used to work with the 2.0 converter.If anyone still got the 2.0 version, could you send it to me (email) ? Or can anyone refer me to a thread with the solution please ? SOLVED , SORT OF : I think it has got to do with me using XP home edition. Tried it on a windows 98 it worked perfectly.
