I'm too tired tonight to flame someone, so lemme just say that they're completely differently formatted than anything that War3 programs can use. There are programs to convert them, but nothing that war3 uses would work.

well, there IS a texture viewer for WoW, but I personally cannot find it, perhaps it will turn up if you scour the internet for a bit, I believe it was BLP2View or soemthing like that

Here is a working blp2 viewer, well you just have to drag and drop the blp on this little program and it converts you the blp to a tga file, in some cases, especially where there is brown in the pic, it turns up pink, so the color patern is messed up in some cases, but you can still use them as a ref ;)

That's the one i've seen around these forums. If i'm not mistaken, it's created by Kindmark? Anyway, there was another one built for earlier versions of WoW which I was wondering if it still existed. I believe that one was called BLp2View.exe or soemthing, it was worked on by many people in the WoW and War3 modding community, and wanted to know if it had resurfaced.

It works well, except for one problem, all the images I convert are tinted blue...
