Does Anyvody knnow why doodads like bridges and gates tend to float in mid air while playing the game but not int the WE? Also, what can you do about it? |

Guest | Why it occurs probably has to do with some of the weird collision protection the world editor has. Luckily, this is easily fixed. Simply place the bridge/doodad where you want it, then select the placed doodad. While holding down ctrl, press page up or down until the bridge looks flush with the surrounding terrain. For some weird reason, you might only need to raise the doodad and then lower it to its original position. It will look exactly the way it did when you placed it, but since you turned off its collision detection (holding down ctrl) the game will actually have the bridge where you put it, not where it thinks it should go (which is pretty much always wrong... ). |
