most are the property of jacinthe, and there is no way you can get you greedy little paws on those.

Actually, it is his business. As one of the contributors to ToB, some of the work you'd like to steal is his. It goes without saying that nothing will ever come of this, though.

1: learn how to draw.
2: get the tools (photoshop, wc3vieuwer and, ofcourse, wc3 tft)
3: learn to work photoshop (preferably without too much filters, pre made textures and/or dodge and burn)
4: do your thing.

and indeed cass (litany whatever) is right. btw cass, if you need anymore stuff (icons or skins) just give me a buzz and i'll see what can be done.

and ofcourse you could also try tutorials (most of them suck, they tell you to dodge and burn xD) or try this, wich is not really a tut but more of a the-way-i-do-it.
