30 second showcase

Its an idea i thought of after watching "10 second showcase" at newgrounds. Its a pretty good idea and i've planned it out all i need if other people. Its basically you get 30 seconds to make a short cinematic, then after everyones done we put it all into one big map. Kinda like an outro for war3.
custom sounds/music/models/skins/anything you can think of, can be used.Post if you want to join this!
sadly i've never completed any of my projects, so this is my last try to make something good. So what are you waiting for?

Sounds funny, but is it that hard to make a cinematic of 30 all by yourselves?

30 seconds a person who is in it.
Its what makes it so simple, each developer use's their experties to make 30 seconds of glory, then when that finish's, another one makes another 30 seconds of cinematic glory.

Example:
GUY makes a hawk flying through a landscape of fireworks and cool sfx. for 30 seconds or so. THEN, GUY2 makes a warrior fight off 100 soliders in his 30 seconds.

I like the idea pretty much! Hmm, I think it would be worth thinking if the next 30 seconds should be something completely different (cinematicer's choice) or should the next cinematicer go on with the story!? I think it would be cool to have someone start with something and another one does what he wants with the next 30 seconds!

nice, but it all have 2 be in one single map, or is there a new map evry 30 secs?

i think there would ne a new map every 30 seconds and the next cinimaticer just takes that map and adds his idea to it

Oh, and maby the next cinimaticer should go along with the story (as in, something that suits the story) cuz it's like if someone made a biggining, let's say, Arthas walking down the round, then the other cinimaticer makes so that he is attacked by Evil Arthas (that makes no sense) i think that it should be like everyone make a BIG story out of many cinimatics (a sereous story that is)

Actually, if some people made this, it would all be one map. Just that there would be 30 seconds for each developer. Then (in the same map) Some thing else would happen. Making 6 maps just for 30 seconds wouldnt worth it. Its completely up to that person to decide if they follow the previus. *example*

Thereaper- makes 30 second cinematic where two guys are walking around.

zer0- Makes a 30 second cinematic about 2 guys kung fu fighting.

But still 1 question, will this cinimatic have no sense? as in just a 30seconds + 30secs + another 30secs = cinimatic? Or should all the developers folow the story?

Kinda like Gathering of Cinematic Developers.

AS i stated above, the developer chooses to go on with the story or not. It would just be thirty seconds of awsome cinematic talent, then something else. If you want to see something like it i suggest watching this:10 Seconds Showcase
