Spelleditor Number 2!

Hi all,

After DoD's Spell editor, a second one is here ! Its also still in its beta form, and only lets you edit existing spells. But support for new spells is underway.

Most of the textboxes have tooltips showing what the value there does, just hover your mouse pointer over the box and information will show up.

The programme should work in any directory, and can only open SLK files. I have only tried this with abilitydata.slk so i cant guarantee it will work with other SLK files.

when you have edited a spell, click the save button to save the changes or just select a diffrent spell. It will onlt be saved then! (Note: this saves the data in the programme, the file itself is only saved when you click save in the menu)

Have fun using it, and post any comments and bugs in the post or email them to me!

Great editor, but you should really go through and find out what the uniques are for every spell and make tips for them, also make the tips show up instantly so we don't have to wait, and make it so we can resize the box, and fit it to the screen.

Other than that, its better than diashi of death's ...I think.

I can't even see most of it, and my monitor won't let me resize my resolution. I can't see anything past the unit id. Fix this and it'll be the best spell editor out there, till Blizzard makes one, lol.

Well, if Blizz makes one it'll most likely be like the Unit editor, which isn't so great for TC's and campaigns, but IS good for multiplayer.

Basically it means his visual basic wasn't coded to handle errors very well.

I know this was mentioned earlier, but you really do need to make the window resizable.
