Channel Ability

hmm

with the naga summoner standard unit, any idea what exactly the channel ability does? is it only a dummy ability so Mana Flare works on that mission with the naga summoners?

It is only a dummy ability. It can be customized to replicate virtually any ability type in the game.

1] how would i replicate any ability in the game with this, with slk editing?

2] is it possible to use Tft WE, then extract pure SLK Data from the map files?

Uhh, Channel can be changed to cast like any ability in the game, but it can never have any effect. htek, IIRC you were making a TC where you didn't want to use any triggers at all. For channel to have any effect, you'd have to use some sort of triggers... so... I don't know if this is really what you want.
