MuldaV, co-creator of "The Vision" has edited the Terrain in Shipwrecked Part 6. Some other minor issues are still being worked out as the days pass, and you download the NEW Shipwrecked Part 6 Here: Http://Shipw.Wc3campaigns.com/Shipwrecked%20Maps/Shipwrecked%20Part%206.w3x Special Thanks To: AmericanHoser - Custom Skin for Captain Jacob (seen later on in the cinema) SamuraiPanda - Battle Music in City Scene http://www.Paulhouseman.com - for multiple tracks All the Beta Testers: The Great Noob, MuldaV, AmericanHoser, Sinema, SamuraiPanda, [Death], Daveman, IllidanStormrage & Murcielago) |

hey first one to reply :D Ahem anyway... First of all I would like to say that I wasn't such a fan of your previous work though I saw improvements in the later parts. But the biggest improvement is from the fifth to this one, ok it's logical that the tension gets higher when a big fight initiates but not only this, there were other scenes that were done well. Something that I really didn't like was how you faded in/out the music - the most times there's a bombastic/epic song and suddenly - cut off and an other song starts.. My tip is to let them fade away and please try to cut the song with a program so that it fits to the current scene! An example is at the nearly end of the cinematic at the port/harbour - the music just doesn't fit to the scene, when they fought against the waterbeasts there was normal backgroun music and then afterwards when they're talking suddenly the music gets damn loud epic and bombastic. See what I mean? All in all you improved a lot in camera movements, terrain and presentation so if you improve more and kill all the not so good things in the next part, then I'm really looking forward to part 7 :D Have a nice day, Recca ![]() |

Yea, the music thing I was having a bit of trouble, and forgot about my music programs (slaps forehead) I am not really good at editing music much, but I did try quite a bit to try to get things right :P and I am wondering if the fade out fade out too fast..........hmmm must look into that issue :P |

WELL HERE IS MY COMMENT ABOUT SHIPWRECKED PART6: The story/line First all the story was great, you really made the story exiting for part 7 that is yet to come. Terrain The terrain was sweet, I really like the underwater view, with you have done more often, and i loved that, I even more liked the harbor of brain'tor, it really surprised me, the big status and the ships that where docked their, where done awsomely. Sound The sounds where custom, witch I think is great, you used them well, the themes where comparable with the story that played, good job at it. cameras Then the cameras, the movement was done good, just a few things to remind you, the moved several times trough trees though, try keeping that in mind. Battles Really liked the battles, though you might improve some the action of them a little bit more, I think you did great at them. Lenght Just good, the lenght was good seeing the story and the action, I didn't fell a sleep, (that occurs when dialogs appear to much and to long). Dialogs The dialogs where done nicely, you putted effort in the fact that they weren't to long but still explaining a lot, good job as well. Intro Can't really say that this was bad, just a good intro as always, with the ship and the coneversations. Ending Sweet ending. just before the great battle starts you let both themes introduce, and that is what keep the people looking forwards to the next version. TOTAL I think you did better than in the previous ones, there is still space left for improving yourself though, try working at the cameras a little bit, and try to make the battles slight more actioned, and all things will fall in place. RATING Must be a 4/5 you could deserved a 5/5 but sometimes I must be hard and so I will be, seeing your skills and your time that you are busy with producing cinematics is long, and I hope this will fall in the right way, no offense, but I think you know what I mean right? P.s Keep up man you rock player_72985 greets /Warnicro/ |
