Hi! I was wondering what is the optimum number of polygons? What does a high number of polygons mean adn what does it do to model(except the quality)? |

I'd say 600 polys is reasonable, depending on what you're doing and the number of times the model will be present on the map. |

i think pheonix posted something about this... it went something like this: peasant: 200 tier 1: 300 tier 2: 400 tier 3: 500 siege: 700 heroes: 1000 lower tier buildings (tower/farm/town hall level 1): 700 unit producing buildings (rax/temples/dens/town hall level 2): 800 town hall level 3: 900 did i leave anything out? |
