ok now this is a simple poll im trying to find out how many of you have read/liked the axis and wayfarers redemption trilogies by Sara Douglas (good books second series is a bit weak though) cause if enough ppl have and liked it then im thinking of making a 6-7 map series covering all the books (btw the 7th map would actually be the prequel to the second series from the start of the 4th book) also im thinking of getting like 4-5 possible endings say if gorgrael captures azhure instead of faraday or say keeps a hold on caelum then he can use them as a item that instantly stuns axis for 10 seconds giving gorgrael the chance to kill him etc btw we'd need to make some save features so that you can continue on exactly form where you left off in the last "chapter" and each chapter goes for like 1 hr as 1 hr would = 1 yr 5 mins= 1 month etc etc and to play WHOLE thing straight would take like 7 hrs oh and btw the save code for it would be automatically given to every player at the end of the game and then in the next game every player puts in same code or soemthing not sure yet but yea just if you can answer the poll mucho thx |

Never heard of him, sorry. It's not like I'm fully uninterested, but you might want to tell something about what he wrote, since I am not even familiar with his name - that didn't come as a surprise, did it? :P But by all means, even if people are not familiar with it, that doesn't mean you may not make the project of it. Perhaps people would enjoy it after playing the project, who knows. -Fladian |

ok well spose better wrte down brief story then Battle Axe by Sara Douglas A thousand years ago the acharites drove the forbidden from their land. Now, strange sightings along achars northern border foreshadow their return. The barbaric Ravensbund are puring south with tales of fearsome beings who fead on the terror of their prey Winter has come early, and with it the promises of war. ok well thats lifted straight off the first book basically Axis the main character is the bastard son of the old duchess of Ichar he was raised by the seneschal since everyone thinks his mum died during the birth. now within the seneschal it became apparant that he wouldnt be of much help to them as another priest so he joins the Axe Wielders (the elite sorta holy warriors) of the seneschal anyway after several years and many victories hes basically declared their leader. now another character is Borneheld his half bro (same mum) now borneheld and axis really really really hate each other but you see borneheld is the current duke of ichtar and since axis is the battle axe of the axe wielders they sorta cant finish each other off (they get to that later) anyway as the skraelings come south at the behest of Axis's OTHER bro (same dad, though neone knows who axis's dad is, plus his dad thinks axis died at birth) Gorgrael the destroyer now gorgrael is a bit of a freak since you see the 2 forbidden races the icarii and the Avar both participate in beltide rituals to keep the sun going now after the ritual many of them... partake... in things they dont normally do the rest of the year round, now knowing the prophecy of the destroyer etc the avar and icarii women normally rid themselves of any baby concieved on that night but you see gorgraels mum was a bit stupid and thought hey ill just go raise this child that prophecy, common knowledge, and anyone with half a brain knows will be evil and twisted. anyway after eating his way out of his mother (yes thats right) gorgrael got raised by some skraelings who had been chasing her just before the gory feast (btw only reason skraes didnt kill him straight away is cause he hated everything else at BIRTH this kid was hating everything) anyway gorgrael slowly grew up on the icy wastes of the north after gathering the skraelings to him he decided to press south and destroy achar (gorgrael knew the prophecy and he knew axis was his bro and only one who could stop im) well thats main protagonists in first book, some might say azhure is but she doesnt really come into her "glory" as such or do anything overly major till second book, some would say belial, timozel and faraday would also be main chars and i agree with that but none of them do anything major till 3rd book well 2nd in belials case i also glossed over just how much axis n borneheld hate each other (if it was ever in map form and u had custom allies well those two would NEVER be able to ally) |
