My friend and I are making a dota style mech map and im busy making several mechs from the battle tech world. Heres the Mad Cat/Timber Wolf skin (Still work to be done on it)

Anyways, that seems like an interesting idea and the model looks very nice. Just make sure not to go overboard and put too many custom models and skins in because it takes a long time to download maps over a mb on battle.net.

Who cares? DotA is very famous, so people will understand what he means, that's all. There is no language rule saying he has to call them that way, no rule saying we have to use one single word for each concept, no "video-game language academy". As long as people get what he means (and you obviously did, as you were able to corret him).

Nice model but yeah a little too high poly, you can use textures to show the rockets in the launcher for instance.

cool stuff, just remember, AOS + custom models = long time to dl.

Its true. Mech isnt very original, seen too many places. Though mech in a aos map sounds new (At least to me :P)..
The model is really good concidered its your first. Keep doing it, and i know for SURE your models will be great. Practise, practise, practise...
