Yepee i had no school today because of the infernal winter conditions here so i drawed a bit, i explored positions so my characters dont looks stiff, im actually learning on front and side view, i still have too much problems with perspective, 3/4 crazy positions with perspective will come in time

Side note: im proud to have good paper! (finally)

1- Good Paper!! just a girl coming to get your head off.... tried an anime feeling here but i lacked of space so the eyes suck...

Zoom (requires log in)

2- Some kind of tribal dancer, it is still in progress but looks cool i think... messed around with a little bit of perspective (not very apparent)

Zoom (requires log in)

3- Early Wip Drawing of a fucked up pose that give me headache (especially the left hand which i erased like 10 time, supposed to hold a ''katana'' and aiming with 2 of her fingers and its a premiere (first time) for me to draw a girl ass lol

Zoom (requires log in)

4- Bad Paper!! Soldier concept for World of Urth (took time but did it)

Zoom (requires log in)

5- Bad Paper again!! Well what to say its a part of armor done in 5 min while trying something, discovered my new metal shading techique like that

You are pretty good, I think you need to work on the feet and hands. One thing I didn't like so much was the arms, pretty muscular for women. If you did it on purpose that is fine but you should practice thinner arms for the women, they would be good on men though.

oh yes, it was on purpose, i normally draw thin arm, i wanted to make the first one a bit more muscular considering the fact she carry a big axe, its like a concept for a comic a guy at school and me are trying to make...

btw im the lucky owner of a plastic head lol... one of the hairstylist at school got me a head they use for trying hairstyle and stuff, its really well done, im going to use that to position female heads in my future drawings and it will be soon 1 year i am drawing!! after christmas it will be officially 1 year

and yes i have problems with feet and hands, im almost all picture, thats why i needed to erase 20 time the left hand on the fucked position drawing

,and, are you rich or gifted? i only received my first sketchbook one week ago, and i didnt used it yet. sketchbookes, despite their names, should be used for serious use, so feel free to erase everything you didnt drawed correctly. the maximum of time you should allow yourself is 3 hours.

to begin with, you'd need to work your shading, in the first picture her hairs seems to be highleted from everywhere, but they dont have a texture either. imagine the hairs as a 3d structure, it'll make it easier. when you're shading, stop doing it with your esthetical side, try to use some logics and convert your drawing in a 3d figure, and guess where there would be shadows ( ie: axe making a drop shadow on legs, or skirt making a shadow near the vaginal area )
in the same drawing, you've put her knuckles in evidence. You're an artist, and you do know that the human have knuckles, but you gotta ask yourself if they're really that apparant: if you take a look at your hands, do you see huge valleys caused by your knuckles? Probably not, you know they are there, but try to vizualize how they look like covered in skin.
A method i use is to avoid pure white, unless there is highlights. If you take a picture of yourself and convert it to greyscale, you will notice almost nothing is white. mastery of shades of grey would help.
The bones where ends her neck ( i dont know the english name of these two bones starting under to the neck ending to the arms ) is another good example of a bad mastery of shades of grey. Not to cry about you, but you could've avoided such a thing by either having used less pressure, or applying correct shades of grey.
The boots are horrible, despite the amount of time and efforts you might've spent, but metal is tricky to get right.

the second pic have nothing wrong with perspective, i highly doubt perspective would've been nescesarry to be applied here. her arms are extremly huge and very long.
everything under her nose is extremly crowded. erase the face and redo it.

third one seems painful. oh and make her arms thinner. two persons of different sexs with the same training wont receive the same physical changes. oh well, anyway, i dont see those hulking arms appropriate unless she lifts a lot of weights.
the first drawing was the only one with acceptable muscles, yet you should get rid of these bumps she have.

fourth one will be left to yourself, try to figure whats wrong with his hand, erase it and redraw it.

fifth one is interesting..i had to do armor "studies" too.. its best used when you have reference pics.

Oh my that is indeed a rought 15 min of typing, thx for pointing out many points

Ive been drawing lots of men for the last months so i think my arms have something too manly right now, need to redraw womens

anyway i realized some points

1st drawing, the shading probably look weird since im a guy who try a lot of thing to get better, that was an attempt at a new way of shading, the pic turned out not too bad, i was aiming for the tall muscular girl here, i would normally add texture to the hair but i was aiming a bit for anime, but whatever, ill continu my others ones and reduce the arm size on the third one

btw its my fourth sketchbook since i started drawing, and they cost me around 20 bucks each, instead of buying games and get drunk in bars i buy drawing crap so i can get good and finnaly get a job in something i like in life. i guess its a good way to buy materials, need sacrifice and im in serious lack of good games... but im gonna go play Bloodrayne 2 now, impatient!! gonna post more and update a bit in some days but Thx for replying

erm whats that supposed to mean, did you meant you'd or ''you will'' if im correct your doing the reference about my future in graphism did you meant, well im going to be strong willed for some years at least, tough its not what i want to do for the rest of my life i think it is better to have a that job then working at crappy place that doesnt even pay like grocery, mcdonald and crap place like that, the plus in that job is that i can put my creativity at work, i appreciate that but the part i dont like is the way im gonna get out of school and be seen as the noob who will do the others concept, normally take a year or 2 before you can do creativity in a graphism.
