Read all b4 you helpI'm using a fade filter effect on my map I've got it to work it's an easy trigger but I need help with is the image conversion to a blp. The Problem This is my problem, when the fade filter turns on in wc3 the image looks very gay it's poor quality, can you tell me how I can make the image look how it does when I save it as a tga? What I'm doing I create a image 800 x 450 because that is the size of wc3 interface I edit the image till I have what I want I resize the Image to 512 x 512.. so it's the size as a normal wc3 graphic I then save it as a tga I use Warcraft 3 Viewer or Wc3 Image Extractor II (I've used them both) Then I import into wc3 editor, and rename the blp to: ReplaceableTextures\CameraMasks\YourFilename.blp Can you help me |

When you convert a.tga to .blp it will ask you for a compression ratio. The higher the better. |

I put it as 99 on Warcraft 3 Viewer cause you can't go any higher and on Wc3 Image Extractor II I put it on 100, I don't know if it can go higher! |

make the original image as 512x512 or 1024x1024... dont resize it... convert that to tga/blp and then try it |

thanks for your help, but you have to resize if I put it as 512 x 512 in the game it will strech it to 800x450.. If I put it as anything higher than 512 x 512 it won't work because that is the max side 4 a graphic in wc3. If you do it, when playing the game it will come up with an error box then close wc3 |

Guest | well i dont recomend wc3 image extractor for converting them into blp files cause they look kinda gay. they're upside down and when you save em to jpeg or blp, they look like shit. so i dunno if i can help you on this. visit the DotA Allstars forums under the downloads section to find more software that could maybe help you. |

rosen1, what you describe isn't a problem that everyone has. I don't believe it's known what causes that, but it's not universal. |
