Well, I'm finally getting down to buisness on my Dragon Ball Z map. Before I post my updates on my progress, I'll tell you a little more about it. Name - Legend of SSJ Players - Single Player Game Type - Rpg (kind of) Map Size - 384x384 6 to 7 Sagas/Chapters (4 tv episode series, 1 DBZ movie, and 1 made by me) New Skins :D [courtesy of ppl submitting them to me] DBZ Music Party AI - - - That's all I could think of atm. My current progress is: 1 Saga done; Party AI done; Some skins done (I think); Lots of Dialog and Regular Triggers done; Some movies done. - - - Well, I'm getting off to a pretty good start as long as I don't get lazy. Some more skins would be nice, so if you feel like submitting them go here. Any questions or comments are appreciated and I'll try to keep everyone updated on my progress. Later. |

Sounds good (of course I like it, I'm one of the biggest DBZ fans on Earth!). I've been asked by other peopel to give them my skins (Particuarly Buu, that one's the shit!) so I'm gonna upload them all into the downloads section here. -Insaniteus- |

Sounds very cool. I love DBZ, so, this should be good. As long as its not a cheap "ur only attack is punching, now go and level up" It should be a "Okay, you can punch, hit 1 for kamahamea, hit 2 to teleport, kill some badies, level up, go supersaiyan". That would be good. I suspect this will be the latter... Note: I voted "A DBZ map is just what wc3 needs" |

Ok. What I've finished now is the main menu for the game, accessed while not in a cinematic by pressing escape. The main menu is one of the ways where you can choose to transform into a super saiyan. DBZ Skins should be coming soon. Redoing some of the first movies to make them up to par with the later ones. Now, I've got to start to work on terrain and doodad placement. Total Completion - 7% QUESTION - A question I have to the ppl reading this is (if you know anything about DBZ) whether you want to be able to transform straight from normal to a Super Saiyan 3 for example, or do you want to have to go through all of the transformations in order. ALSO - I'm thinking of making something of a Open RPG, possibly multiplayer, using my DBZ stuff that I already made. You would make your own character, all DBZ characters would not be there, but refrences to Dragon Balls, Capsule Corp., etc would remain. What do you think? Even if I decide to do this, the single player version I am making now would be the only priority until it is finished. REALEASE DATE - December 31, 2002 (as of now) |

Yes, during certain parts of the game the player fuses people together to form newer units. |

Okay, for starters, the project is no longer run directly by me but by: United Customs Coalition - It's a wierd name I made up for people from different WarCraft 3 websites coming together to make a kick @$$ DBZ game. As for actual progress, skins coming along, although slowly, from what I hear. Actual Dialogs in game are 88% complete, pending some later changes when I make some decisions about the game's access to the levels of Super Saiyan. Finally found some good music; if anyone has any good DBZ mp3s, send em to me; it'd be a great help. Even with KaZaA, I can harldy find anything. A couple more cinematics for the actual DBZ rpg have been tweaked to look better. Oh and there's a new release date: Release Date: The next time WC3C holds a contest that it can be signed up for. I will hold it until then. (Yes, I AM serious :) Feel free to ask questions or post comments on this thread, and also check out the skins thread in my sig. Later. |

Lol. Um, maybe I should tell you that it's just a dialog box that you cn make with triggers. :D A new cursor; eh, probably not that important, but maybe if I have time... Oh, and I'll probably just post new updates on the skinning page in my sig, so don't bother checking this old thread. |

Seriously, I HATE DBZ now. I LOVED it when I was a child (watching people fighting is COOL), but after, I realized the repetition! Good luck, as it's a MOD, and I'll respect it's features :D |

Holy crap!! Please do NOT reply to 6 month old threads..... Anywho.... for default big maps, you need the WorldEditData.txt. Inside of it there's a thing that looks like this.... [WorldEditMisc] CampAcquireRadius=200 DropTableIndicatorScale=0.25 DropTableIndicatorHeight=10 MouseWheelZoomFactor=1.10 DefaultMapSize=64,64 MinimumMapSize=64 MaximumMapSize=256 HelpFile=support\Layout\Index2.html DefaultDoodadCategory=D ClickHelperScale=0.4 - - - Change the default and the maximum to any size you want no bigger than 480. Tada. Oh and please don't post on really old threads... |
