Just a few screenies from a little island i've been working on. This is my first terrain to make it onto the website, so i'd like some feedback on it. Thanks |

Guest | Ever heard of cropping?. Looks good, it's dull and needs a sky, the rocks get 2 repetive at a point, so make them longer. 7/10 |

Just did some quick shots and saved em as JPEGS on paint, didn't bother cropping cause theres not much to see yet. As for the rocks, yeah, I kind of agree, but I started out trying to make.... well, i don't know what I wanted to make, but everything was supposed to be uniform in the begginning. *Shrug* I'll see If I can vary the lenth a little. Please, more feedback! |

For a first timer, this looks like some awesome work. although the mountain does looks unnatural with the repetativenes. Try rotating a few. Apart from that..there just need to be a bit..more of it. from a first timer 9/10, your showing awesome knowledge of a few popular tricks of the trade and have grapsed them well. As a terrain in general 6/10..like i said, there just isnt enough stuff there ^^. Either way, thinkfast! *hurls a rep at you* |

Guest | Wow thats good for fist time. As said earlyer the mountain doesnt look natural with the sameness and some more environment doodads to give it more life but other then that gj ![]() |

Thats the Forcewall Desctructable I turned into a prop. I took it out though, and I tried out some more stuff. Heres some more pics. I might use that rock chunk idea again, it was painstaking, but I still like the result. |

Holy mother... a rep from Murloc?!?! *Faints* Thanks for the input! The only reason the terrain itself isen't as interesting as it should be is because its on a small scale: A skeleton is about 3/4 the size of the door in the mountain-thing. Its all pretty small. I may try something like this again, on a bigger scale though. EDIT Woops... double post. ![]() |

my rep is worth something? huh. learn something new every day. New screenies are better, but id slam some rock spires in there to get variation int he mountian (rather than stretched rock chunks). But then again. I slam rock spires down everywhere.....even inside trees...... change the rotation of some rock chunks. stuff where you have the exact same angle of chunk right next to eachother spoils this work. |
