any suggestions on makeing a map without makeing the file size over 4.mb or lower?
what not to do adn what to use.

.. If you dont want your map to be big, dont import lots of custom stuff.

Dont use models or skins unless there absoulety neccasary

Adding loading screen pictures takes a meg as its 4 images made into 1, even if you make it as a jpeg.

When importing custom sound edit it so its not 44000htz ....but half it to about 22000, meaning the sound quality may not be as great but it splits the size of the file down

Cut down on unnecasary imports

Small WAVs - OK
Custom Loading Screen - OUCH
Music - Very, very painful.
Skins - OK

If you make a new skin/icon please turn it to a .blp-file and use about 25 in compression. That will decrease a lot. More isn't needed for most skins/icons...
