I just came up with a funny idea, that means that a tool that can translate jass triggers into triggers that we jassnewbies can undetstand. ^_^ ^_^ It would be something like this: You copy the custom text into a board, or something, and click convert and it changes the text into triggers that is easy to understand. Probably a dream that is to crazy to fulfill :god_help_us: |

I think that some GUI Rebuilder exists but i didnt really see one. They use them for rebuild GUIs when someone protects a map deleting the .wtg file inside it. |

Guest | what is a w.wtg file. i have one for DotA and the editor says file type/other. |

The wtg file cointains the GUI triggers that the editor uses to rebuild GUI Triggers. If you delete it you'll read in the editor only jass scripts. If you change it with a 0 kb file you can protect the map by opening with worldeditor because he finds an error rebuilding the GUI. |

No offence meant, but you're asking for a program to build JASS triggers into GUI... and just happen to mention that you have a DotA wtg file? This sounds like you want to rebuild DotA's triggers--and I believe WC3 Campaigns, as well as most people on it, don't believe in unprotecting maps. |

Guest | umm all i want to know is what to do with this file. is it worthless or can i do something with it? |

Unprotecting maps is immoral! If one unprotect a map is because he doesnt want that noobs like you edit it and take credits for creating the map! |

If you're able to read the war3map.j file and make your own GUI triggers, would it really be immoral? would it be 'unprotecting' a map? If you made your own map deprotector and distributed it to those who don't understand how it works, does it suddenly make it immoral? |

Guest | lol all i want is the triggers on DotA cause i find JASS confusing. and i also want the triggers in GUI form cause i wanna learn how guinsoo accually made the triggers since the only triggers i know how to do is cinematic, attachment models, and kicking so im still trying to learn to work with the editor. |

I hear the best way to learn triggers is to look at a maul. As for this tool, BAD IDEA. If this was made fucktards would be stealing maps every second. |

Rosen wc3campaigns is full of tutorials... read them and dont unprotect maps until you are noobs and you cant understand the hard scripted dota spells. |

closing this because we are all sick of these map protection discussions |
