When I create an alpha channel, I open the image (In Paint Shop Pro 7) I want to have the channel with. I use Mask - Load Alpha Channel, and it creates a transparent mask on the image. When im done, I do Mask - Save Alpha Channel, and it shows the greyscale areas and lets me name it. But, when I delete the mask and save the image as TGA Format, the alpha channel comes up white instead of transparent in Windows Preview, Wc3 Editor, Wc3 Preview, and Paint Shop Pro itself. I have no freakin clue how to make it open transparent instead of white. I can load the alpha channel with Mask - Load Alpha Channel, and it will be transparent, but no matter what when I save it its still white. Ive tried deleting the mask into a transparent part of the layer, ive tried making a seperate transparent layer under it, ive tried over and over and nothing seems to work. The only thing i think i havnt tried is not using transparency. Can someone tell me what to do?
