okay i can assure you that the entire thing is redon from scratch, and i made it all piney looking and stuff. planning to make several versions of this one, a snowy version and a christmas version ^ ^





and i allready finished the snowy version::

okay for some stupid reason this picture loads really slow, at least on my computer, so please be patient, its much better then the non-snowy one...

anyone can request any form of this skin and i'll make it, just for sport. (unless i cant do it through simple changes, and/or i think its a stupid suggestion)

That's (as usualy) great, but the snowy version needs to be more... snowy

if you know how to make it more snowy without making him either icy blue or look like crap please do teach me, becouse i tried and tried and tried but couldnt figure it out.....

but i am quite satisfied with this, it makes him look kind of out of his element, like he is not really meant to be in the snow, yet he's well adapted to his (new?) envoiroment.

y'know i was just thinking the other day, how cool it would be to make a snowy nightelf skin pack, with all units, heros and buildings... but i'd probubly get bored. with snowy, think like archers in thick fur and stuff, just some more and warmer looking clothes, i'm not saying remake all skins completely. orcourse the mountain giant would have to be redone i guess ^ ^ and alll heros might get a complete new skin.

OR, we make it a completely new kin of nightelf, a nightelf kin that lives in the icy planes of northrend and are adapted to this. and i am now talking about druids with snowy forms, white crow and polar bear, i'm talking about snow panthers for all, i'm talking total conversion here...

now i have a holliday coming up, i have time.... and i am interested in making this. i dont know how far i'll come but that doesnt matter, when i get bored with it i'll quit and release what i have done...

now, whos with me? ^ ^ i could use some good skinners to aid me make a pack like this. becouse i doubt i could do it all alone...

I would definitely help, except for the fact that my skinning abilities suck some major monkey butt. It's a great idea, though. I hope it gets somewhere.

its actually a good idea, remaking a tree to be another tree. i like it! and the snowy form is good as it it ( methinks ) it looks good in snowy enviroment.

this is pretty cool! the snowy verision doesnt need more snow.. Since it'll look like some ice elemental.. lol. i could you help you out with that skin pack, if i dont suck to much :(

well i dunno hound, you might be able to do one... i've seen skins of you that are good enough in quality, like your desert elf KotG, wich i consider your best up untill now (i think). with some guidence, it might work ^ ^

and man, getting this done befeore christmas is impossible, it'll take at least one month to complete i think. but i might not do it completely, i'll continue with it untill i am bored with it ^ ^

and they are not called snow elves, not by a long shot. they are nightelves. they just live and/or are stationed in northrend, they're not a now race. they might get a little paler or something but it's definetly not a new race, just adapted Night Elves to a new envoiroment.

we'll see how far we'll get, i still have to talk to heuter and muoteck.
