Just incase you've been under a rock while visiting these forums, DoC is a mod that recreates warcraft 1 on the warcraft 3 engine, with whole new gameplay aspects you couldn't even dream of. A mod for all the hardcore oldie fans, and new players alike who want to learn about the great legends such as Doomhammer and Lothar.

I'll be frank as I usually am...

The s aren't heavily detailed. However everything in this seems to be custom so it flows and everything fits together, nothing looks out of place which is very important.

However as terrain I think it is only average.

not detailed? Well, how would you suggest it is more detailed"? keep in mind these arent for random terrain maps. And the last 4 shots are for a playable melee map, so there needs to be open space.

And the top 5 of the orc warcamp are for a cinematic, so even there, space needs to be available for cameras, units movement etc.

There's also a lot of things screenshots dont show, like the oozing slime hidden within bushes and pits. Woo! i got to use the oozing word!

Anywho, saying it isnt detailed enough..well, isnt detailed enough really. more specific?

Very cool and detailed terrain, I like the hanging body in the 6th screenshot, is it also a doodad from the mod?
Or is it downloadable elsewhere?

Looking good. About time someone brings the classic into this day. Loved this series ever since that game.. That looks pretty much how I figured those scenes would look, should they have three dimensions (or more than 320x200 resolution)

But yes, looks promising.

best terrain ive seen in a good while, imo there hasnt been anything good in a very long time(with a few exeptions) IMO terrain back in the old days was better, when this forum didnt exist, but it was a sub-forum in the cinematic section, well nuff bout that

I'm not saying it dosen't look good. It looks awsome.

Just as terrain it's not that detailed. Like the open areas which is understandable because it's supposed to be playable or for cinematic.
