I have been force to use gmax since 3ds Max cost like $1000. I need to know where I can get the gmax exporter tools similar to the 3ds Max exporter tools. |

There is a better method. Get the Tempest gamepak here http://www.gmaxsupport.com/html/download.asp and the installer doesn't work so use Winzip or any unzipping program to extract the files. Take the md3 export plugin and place it into the gmax plugin folder. This allows you to export md3 which you can convert into 3ds or Obj with 3d Exploration, attached to this reply. |

omg dex is better, it exports in mdl and directly to a wc3 type of archive and save the animations, + many mdl objects used by game. |
