Guest | Imagination Cubed is a nice little drawing flash-based program (of sorts) that allows you to use various drawing doodads similar to paint to draw, sketch doodle...whatever, then replay it to your friends or whoever, whenever you want. You can also invite friends thru AIM or email to draw IN drawing space with you. I stumbled upon this and was instantly hooked. Drawing with a mouse isn't easy, but it did get easier. I've completed 4 (I believe) drawings via mouse, and 2 (as of this post) with my Digi Pen/Pad. This is great for watching how others draw to see their style / techniques. My aim is to help some people out with this drawing, whether it be on paper or screen. I know some people have seen this before but let's let others get exposed. Heres what you do.... Draw a drawing (Go Here to draw) Click File > Save ... then type in your Email and whatever else it wants and send it. It will email you a link to view your drawing. Once you click it, it will open it up and "Replay" you drawing your image. It speeds it up quite a bit, and removes any pauses. You have limited ink, to save on server-side bandiwidth / storage... use it well. Ok, let's start it off. I'm going to post my most recent drawing. (To see all of mine, go to Lazyspoon.com (My site) Use this format for your posts, add any addition information you want. Dont spend a tremendous amount of time on your drawing as it should only be a sketch, you'll use up all your ink before you know it. make sure you get your email (takes a minute or two) before you close your drawing. I made the mistake of mis-typing my email and closed my drawing, never to see it again. Feel free to leave feedback on anyones work. Good Luck! ============================================== Drawing Link Title: Untitled Used: Digital Pen/Pad Time it took: Aprox. 5-10min. Notes: Drawing a straight line for the sword got tiresome and I kinda settled with that one, it was a random image i got in my head, nothing special. =============================================== Drawing Link Title: Chik Posing Used: Digital Pen/Pad Time it took: Aprox. 5-10min. Notes: This could have been a good one had i made her smaller, and i used my ink better... i ran out right when it started looking good. O well Drawing Link Title: Self Portrait: Hand Used: Digital Pen/Pad Time it took: Aprox. 5-10min. Notes: Got bored and decided to draw my hand, the index finger came out a bit elongated but the rest came out true-to-life. Heres another site with different features! http://artpad.art.com/ I'm going to paint some in there now and compare/contrast :) Remember to see my other Drawings / Artwork visit Lazyspoon.com |

well its pretty cool unfortunatly its too slow for me, i start scribling but i go too fast and the lines are square like, your work however is impressive |

Guest | Thx for the feedback, sorry its slow for you. I used 56k for like 6 years before i moved out and began paying for cable (Split 4 ways between roomates) so i can level with you. Thanks again. |

well actually it is not the loading time that is slow (im on cable too), its more like... you cant draw fast in this program, i normally scribble a lot so it take like half a second to make a line and to get a good line in this it need at least 2 sec otherwise it do square-like lines but its fun to watch your replay after |

Guest | dang death, congrats- looks good. At first i was trying to figure out what exactly it was, thats half the fun of watching other ppl draw i guess, but the end result was nice. I liked the perspective / angle. dont u love how u decide u wana use some other colors, or clean up the lines right when you realize youre out of ink? lol @Saboera, i dont know why your drawing would lag because you're on cable, it honestly shouldnt. Mine can get a little boxy if im overzealous, but hardly. Is it possible you have an older version of the flash plugin? you might want to check into that from the macromedia site. gl |
