Mordane, Well here's a storyline for a campaign I'm working on, if anyone would like to help edit the spells/units/sounds please reply! Here's the storyling: Rage of Darkness Mordane's Betrayal Mordane was once an honorable Orc warchief. During the war against the Burning Legion he defended Azeroth courageously; however, during the battle against Tichondrius, Mordane was captured and held in the Dreadlords' citadel. He was tortured beyond anything a mortal should ever experience. After the war ended, Mordane was freed from his cell by Thrall. While the others were celebrating Archimonde's defeat, Mordane was constantly brooding in a secluded area in Kalimdor. Many of his clan questioned him about the dungeon where he was kept in, but he couldn't bring himself to answer. What he experienced there was unbearable, and would leave him scarred for life. Two years past, and Mordane was still being tormented by visions of the dark lords of the Burning Legion. One day, Mordane left Azeroth, and his Orc clan, forever. He traveled North, far into the distant lands of Northrend. There, he died. A renegade Necromancer named Kal'Morgath found Mordane's corpse. Thinking of starting his own army of the dead, Morgath quickly ordered his acolytes to load the corpse in a meat wagon. From there they traveled to Morgath's secret lair, where Mordane was resurrected using the dark energies of the nether-realm. Mordane had been reborn, and was completely corrupted by the evil of the shadow energies. Together, Kal'Morgath and Mordane traveled back to Dalaran, the exact spot where Archimonde was summoned. To their surprise, the Humans were rebuilding the city. Disguised, Morgath questioned many of the cityfolk, who told him that this is the spot where King Nathaneal wanted to relocate the kingdom of Lordaeron. He named the new kingdom Amberthrall. Kal'Morgath quickly devised a plan to terrorize this city before it could gain the strength to be a full empire. Many of Morgath's followers charged into battle. The odds were pretty even, but as Morgath sent his new champion, Mordane, into battle the tides quickly turned. The Humans were forced farther back. Mordane's rampage was unstoppable at the time, but one archmage was able to silence him. Calling the full powers of the Kirin Tor, 9 powerful sorcerers vanquished Mordane. Mordane's death meant little for Kal'Morgath, he could easily revive the corrupted, and unrecognizable, Undead warrior. So Morgath retreated back to his hidden territory in Northrend, where he plans his next moves... send me your feedback on what you think. |

Guest | Very good campaign idea dude :) The only plot problem that I think would exist would be the fact that, by the end of WC3, the Scourge controls most of Lordaeron with an iron fist. (Or rather, a skeletal fist.) But eh, the rebuilding humans could have driven them out prior to the events of the campaign. Speaking of which, having undead units outside of his own control would get Ner'Zhul (the Lich King) fairly pissed off. (watches the opposing undead forces battle each other) |
