I interviewed Jason Hayes, Blizzard Music composer of the Warcraft III cinematics music and World of Warcraft ingame music and cinematic intro. I threw a fastball below the belt and got good news. Jason Hayes is willing to support the Modding Community and Voice Acting Guilds, WC3Campaigns Sound Guild specifically was mentioned during the interview. I assume he will help either with music or voice acting, or processing the music/voicing digitally. His wife has also done voice acting for Blizzard games and may assist WC3Campaigns too. The interview is at blizzplanet, and at Wowguru. Thanks for your support, and I am glad to have made an achievement for the Modding Community as a thanks for hosting Blizzplanet all these years. Thanks. Read the interview: http://www.wowguru.com/103.html UPDATE: Bluesnews.com published the news to the media : http://www.bluesnews.com/cgi-bin/boa...threadid=53662 Other interviews with Blizzard employees: Rihard A. Knaak (D&D writer, Warcraft Day of the Dragon) Glynnis Talken (Starcraft Kerrigan) Julian Kwasneski (Starcrat: Ghost Sound Designer) |

Yeah I read it, I was really waiting for that interview. From a music and a sound perspective myself. His setup is SO expensive :P *Jumps up and down* I just love his scores, especially his choires. I wonder what his wife voiced. :P |

His website has a forum. You may wish to ask him yourself to find out. He is very friendly. I offered him adding a ad banner to blizzp when he releases his album. It would be nice if some sites also do so. Even if its not paid advertising. He could do some great work for the modding and he would do it free I guess. So a free ad is nothing compared with his time and dedication. |
