I am trying to convert a .MUS file into a .MP3 or .WAV file. I can't seem to find a method that will work. I've googled it and searched the internet. Please help... ![]() |

Well what's a *.mus and where did you get it? |

Guest | I think .mus is a format used by some music composer softwares (Finale, and maybe Harmony?). I don't know if its possible to convert directly from .mus to another common sound format, although I heard once of a software called "Super MP3 Recorder Professional" (Edit: could be "All Sound Recorder XP" maybe, not sure) which could do something with that. Anyway, I think you could just play the .mus file with your software and record it in real-time with another recording software. I'm afraid I can't be of any more help. Salutions® |

Thanks for the help. (I almost forgot I made this thread) And by the way, a .mus is a music notation file from Harmony and Finale. Usually Finale lets you convert but mines acting up and crashes if I try. I've been trying to find a way around it. Thanks anyway, I'll try that recording program... |

Ah so it's basically a bunch of notes :) I wrote a tutorial on how to record from that once. That is also the idea, you play it then record it down to a file. :) |
