A Hero that doesn't use mana, and cast spells using hit points.

How would I do that?

Think I saw one like that in Tides of Blood.

To do any of that, you would need to trigger. I made a pretty decent thing like that awhile ago. I'll search for it.
But i suggest asking in the trigger forum

Triggers.

And come up with an original concept.

maybe it will be better to use "damage" unit trigger.

you can make it magic damage, to similate the damage of the spell.

Yes, in ToB exists the exactly same idea. It is named a Blood Mage. All his spells require HP. Copieng this idea would be... so incredibly lame. :P

i dont see it as copying the idea, but more as using the same concept.

How many blademaster heros are there in custom maps? whats the chance of it having a) Critical Strike b) Mirror Image c) Windwalk or d) Blade storm.

there are more original abilities that you can give a blademaster but people always put at least 1 of those spells.

i person like the concept of a bloodmage and i think that the TOB creators not only sucessfully created a hero based on the concept but should be true proprioritors of the concept - ie. give them credit for the original concept.

there are other spells that you could make on the basis of "blood mage" and not be seen as a cheap TOB rip off.
