Timer Reset

12-26-2004, 03:23 PM#1
Tim.
Ok, for my map, when a hero dies, a Countdown Timer appears, with the players name. I did the triggers, and its fine, (I use variables to distinct between players). However, Im stumped as to why, if another player's hero dies, all other players with a countdown timer reser themselves...

Heres the code, hope its a simple mistake...

Quote:
Events

Unit - A unit Dies

Conditions

And - All (Conditions) are true
(Owner of (Dying unit)) Equal to Player 1 (Red)
((Dying unit) is A Hero) Equal to True

Actions

Countdown Timer - Start Timer[(Player number of (Owner of (Dying unit)))] as a One-shot timer that will expire in ((Real((Hero level of (Dying unit)))) x 20.00) seconds
Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for Timer[(Player number of (Owner of (Dying unit)))] with title (Name of (Owner of (Dying unit)))
Set TimeWindow[(Player number of (Owner of (Dying unit)))] = (Last created timer window)
Wait ((Real((Hero level of (Dying unit)))) x 20.00) seconds
Hero - Instantly revive (Dying unit) at (Center of Rebel Spwn 2 <gen>), Hide revival graphics
Countdown Timer - Destroy TimeWindow[(Player number of (Owner of (Dying unit)))]
Camera - Pan camera for (Owner of (Dying unit)) to (Center of Rebel Spwn 2 <gen>) over 1.00 seconds

I oringally did this for every player in one trigger using If/The/Else, but then I broke it up by player, hoping to resolve this issue. However, the issue remains.

Any ideas?
