Because I don't want my filter to display for the whole game, I figured I could turn it off with:

Cinematic - Hide filter

It does hide the filter, but all other tooltips such as abilty descriptions; mouse roll-overs basically. What is wrong here? I've seen something similar to this in Dark Lineage Owen 3.

Also, if it matters, while the filter is on, cinematic mode is on.

Nothing's wrong. If you go to the official Blizzard FAQ about worldedit, you'll see that filters will hide tooltips, and nothing you can do against that.

And you don't need to set cinematic mode on to use filters.
